Memories

Memories of years gone by,
some are heart felt-
time less treasures ,
in the depths of my heart,
lovely things such beautiful dreams,
such lovely feelings,
all are mine for the keeping,
others are scary so deeply felt-
that time to could not heal,
they have left a mark so deep an dark,
still at the bottom of my heart ,
such horrible things,that come to haunt,
they to were mine for all time,
there to remain till my dying day.

Life is like a Butterfly

this poem is a dedication to the good & bad years gone by.

Life is like a butterfly,
it flutters and passes by,
before i know my time is up,
before i know all is gone,
only memories of yesterday years,
are all that's left in hand,
only a tear drop or two are left,
of years gone by,
thats life it's passing me by,
just like sunshine through the clouds,
peeks and goes before you know,
that's how fast life seem's to be slipping
away from me.
